Puerco Canyon Landslide Repair 

RockForce Construction performed an extremely complex and high-risk landslide stabilization project directly off Hwy 1 in Malibu below 3 homes owned by very prominent citizens and celebrities, totaling well over $100M in critical adjacent property.

Integral with the slot cutting operation, RockForce constructed a series of phased retaining walls, caissons, and tiebacks totaling over 1,150 LF of retaining wall, 450 LF of piles, 776 LF of grade beams, 95 LF of permanent shoring, 244 LF of temporary shoring, the removal of existing shoring, along with an extensive tieback system integral with the above. Work also included well abandonment, demolition, clearing and grubbing, surface drains, paving, and underground storm drain work on the 2:1 embankment performed in coordinated sections integral with grading.
